ANNENBERG FOUNDATION WORK IN PROGRESS

I'm honored to have this opportunity, it's been such an exciting experience to make this work for a foundation that I admire so much and has done so much good for the art community. Approximately 45 individual leaves collaged together to form 20 ft in total. Here, the work is nearly done, a shot as a work in progress. A thousand shades of red, cardinal, brick, indian, crimson, beet, wine, claret, merlot, cardinal, burgundy, petal, ballet slipper, candy apple, fire engine, sanguine, cherry, blood, tomato, scarlet, venetian, persimmon, carmine, rose deep...and then the golds, marigold, saffron, tropical gold, butter yellow, titian gold, pewter, iridescent bronze...on handmade mulberry paper from Japan, Arches paper from France, hot press smooth satiny finish, cold press rough edges and texture, and small, smaller and tiny postcard and business card size pieces handmade in a little burg in Germany...
